Fantastische ervaring: I studied Dutch at Taalhuis online, and my experience was excellent! My teacher, Marielle, was amazing. Her classes were dynamic, and she was always patient and very dedicated, making the lessons much more enjoyable. The school’s system is also great; everything runs efficiently, from enrollment to student support. I highly recommend Taalhuis to anyone who wants to learn Dutch in a practical and effective way.

Fantastische ervaring: I took the online course which allowed me to learn from abroad and it was such a great experience. Marjon, my teacher was so kind and patient and had a great way of teaching the language but also explaining cultural and historical context of the Netherlands. I joined every class happily and truly felt like I advanced a lot! Will for sure continue with the next levels.

Fantastische ervaring: I have found this course more beneficial, largely because the teacher and fellow students consistently use Dutch as the medium of instruction throughout the course. This immersion has helped me become more accustomed to listening and speaking Dutch, and I am continually practicing the language as a result of being a member of this Taalthuis Thank you for providing the well-equipped facilities for the course.

Fantastische ervaring: Annemiek was a wonderful teacher! I did the physical class, but I had to be absent for three weeks due to a family situation. They helped me to recover the classes online so I could keep up. Marjolein was also fantastic online. Highly recommend Taalthuis for learning Dutch!

Fantastische ervaring: I did an online course for 0 to A1 and it was a very nice experience for me. My teacher was very kind and used to put a lot of efforts in teaching us. The classes were very informative and course structure and guide books were also very vivid. Overall I absolutely loved the experience and will do further courses from here as well, as I absolutely love the atmosphere in Taalthuis❤️ I totally recommend

Fantastische ervaring: I had the online class 0 to A1 with the teacher Carol. It was a great experience. We learn as much as, if not more, than other schools. The platform is great, with so many resources, and the teacher was great as well. I recommend it! Just make sure to do your homework, makes the whole difference.

Negatieve ervaring: Signed up for online Dutch classes two years ago with a prof. Marleen...something (forgot her last name). For me it was such an unfortunate experience that I gave it up after about 4 lessons. It was a class for adult and the teacher obviously had no experience teaching adults. I was expected to do homework in advance, without previously covering the lesson in class, which means that I had to do my homework with google translate since I did not understand anything. This, I could have done without paying 500 euros for a language class. When I asked for explanations or clarifications in class, I was often told to "google it" or take on some one-on-one sessions with the teacher if I have more questions (that I had to pay for of course), and I was even told that answering my questions is holding the class in place (we were all on the same level and my questions benefitted everyone). Probably a good fit for compliant neurotypicals. As an autistic who does not stand for bullshit, for me personally this was a huge no.

Fantastische ervaring: Learning a new language is a long, sometimes painful process. There is no short, easy way, but this place makes this process definitely easier, more clear, more structured! I did two face to face courses, both at a very convenient time for me (morning hours). I had the aces to an online platform, so I could learn any time Lessons are not boring and very interactive. I like the atmosphere, the teacher, the place. I am very glad because my voice was heard and they opened the course in the morning for the next level. So I have a chance to continue my learning journey at Taalthuis, and I strongly recommend it to everyone who is hesitating. That is a great place where you can actually learn dutch!

Het volgen van de online cursus gaf me de flexibiliteit om vanuit het buitenland te studeren, de docent paste de lessen aan op de taaldoelstellingen die we aan het begin hebben aangegeven, en het was goed georganiseerd en interactief. Een plezierige omgeving om Nederlands in te leren!

Fantastische ervaring: Geweldige leerervaring. Betrokken leraar die oprechte interesse toonde in mijn vooruitgang (mijn leraar had een geweldig gevoel voor humor - grappige leraren waren altijd onze favorieten op school!). Heel goed!!!!!

Fantastische ervaring: Uitstekende les om Nederlands te leren! De docenten zijn allemaal zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met een geweldige, gemotiveerde houding! De lessen zijn zeer interactief en je leert echt veel, niet alleen over de taal, maar ook over Nederland zelf! Ten zeerste aan te raden voor iedereen die een nieuwe taal wil leren! De locatie is echter wel een beetje moeilijk te vinden de eerste keer!

Fantastische ervaring: Het was een erg goede cursus, onze lerares vroeg ons wat onze belangrijkste taaldoelen waren, en zij paste elke les daarop aan. Ik voelde me erg comfortabel in het begrijpen en praten over bepaalde onderwerpen en de kleinere klasgrootte maakte het gemakkelijk om te leren, in een leuke omgeving. Mijn medestudenten hadden allemaal een vergelijkbaar niveau als ik, dat hielp ook. Het werkte erg goed online, en ik heb me eigenlijk aangemeld voor de volgende cursus. Veel geweldig extra materiaal ook.

Fantastische ervaring: Geweldige school, goed georganiseerd, volgt alle nieuwste covid-maatregelen. De leraren zijn altijd georganiseerd, vriendelijk en staan open voor meer academische vragen. Je leert niet alleen een taal maar ook de cultuur. Ik voelde me in een veilige omgeving om vragen te stellen zoveel als ik nodig had om er zeker van te zijn dat ik normaal de cursus volg. Leraren inspireren je en ondersteunen je tijdens het leren. Ik had ook zeer waardevol e-learningmateriaal van de school dat me daadwerkelijk hielp sneller en op een leuke manier mijn materiaal te herzien. Ik raad ten zeerste aan om het extra e-learningmateriaal aan te schaffen. Aan het einde van de cursus is er ook een certificering. Ik zal zeker mijn cursussen voor het volgende trimester voortzetten. Hier heb ik een nieuwe taal geleerd, een nieuwe cultuur, nieuwe mensen ontmoet en het was leuk om het te doen!
