Language Café Yan 言 is located in the beautiful historic district of the Villenviertel within Bad-Godesberg, Bonn. The Café is dedicated to bringing people together to learn new language skills and help experience other cultures in a joyful fashion. Here you can enjoy well prepared half Eastern & half Western food or drinks. You can be sure everything is made with love and you will have lots of fun chatting with open minded and friendly people. We encourage customers to talk to those neighbouring at tables or meet other lovers of international languages. We offer a fantastic time when you visit our Cafe; because we want to provide more for you and our shared world…

Fantastische Erfahrung: Lovely coffee with delicious warm apple cake. Though was tempted by the home made cheese cake! A great place for conversation and making new friends. Always welcomed with a smile by the owner.

Dear Artur , Thank you for your honest comments , I like all the advice from my customers :) , hope you enjoyed our coffee as well even it’s not big as you wish :) maybe you don’t know , even from the automatic coffee machine , can also make great coffee as well ,if you are professional enough :) , this coffee machine from same factory which made WMF , just without Logo , can excellently grand the fresh coffee beans make so reach coffee crema , also could maintained very good quality coffee flavor for all my customers, believe or not I have a Cafe guests just take taxi daily come for my Double Espresso from this machine… because I setting perfect amount espresso 8 grams coffee beans 30ml , as qualified Barista trained from Milan, my concern of coffee more into quality not quantity , so perhaps that’s makes you feel the amount not enough for you ! But it’s standard size, hope you can check again, every Baristas very individually , I do have another espresso coffee machine for different coffee beans , if you wish have big size could ask for next time ^^ , Secondly about the price ,hopefully you understand Café have also cost for provide to go cups and holders , as small Café, also face the coffee beans , paper cups, electricities …etc. raise up the price , ours still cheaper than most of Café shops around this area except Mr. Baker , they provide very reasonable coffee price , if you like can try form there next time :) Economy side , I can feel everyone got pressures, specially small business which can’t compare big Cafe get good discount…Most of them barely to survive including me ! The end , I want to let you know , sale few cups of coffee to customers won’t makes me more rich , actually no profit from this at all, the reason why I’m stay here , because I have missions to make international connection , and unite people together for exchange Language and Cultures, for more understanding each others …bring more harmonies to the World …not here waiting sale few cups of coffees …our mainly products it’s Language support and good service! Hope you have more clear pictures, no body want scam your wallet for few cups of coffee ^^ Sorry for more feedback , would be great next time order coffee before make sure you accept the price from menu first again , and think one second before you give lower reviews for others which works so hard for keep them ‘s dreams alive , don’t kill more business owner’s motivation without mercy … Appreciate ! Fantastische Erfahrung: Nettes kleines Café etwas abseits vom belebten Zentrum. Es gibt verschiedene, frische und vorallem leckere Kuchen zur Auswahl (auch asiatische Variationen). Auch zu empfehlen, der hervorragende Ingwer-Zitronen-Tee. Dazu noch eine freundliche Gastgeberin (es wurde englisch gesprochen) .

Negative Erfahrung: Letzten Sonntag sind wir als Familie dorthin gegangen, nur um festzustellen, dass sie geschlossen waren. Wurde nicht auf ihrer Homepage angekündigt. Heute (15.01.) sind wir erneut während ihrer Öffnungszeiten um 10:45 Uhr hingegangen, da ihre Feiertage angekündigt wurden, aber es war wieder geschlossen. Wir haben die Ankündigung im Schaufenster überprüft, auf der steht, dass es heute geöffnet ist. Anscheinend sollten sie geöffnet sein, waren es aber nicht. Daher haben wir beim zweiten Mal sehr enttäuscht verlassen. Wir hätten das Café gerne bewertet, nachdem wir es tatsächlich erlebt haben, leider war dies nicht möglich.

Negative Erfahrung: Nur gutes gehört! War heute da. Wollte ein Kaffee to go! Sie war leider nicht da. Ein Zettel hing an der Scheiben mit dem Satz: „comming soon“. Habe 5 min. gewartet mehr zeit hatte ich nicht! Sehr schade.
Thank you for your comments! and sorry for that you couldn’t get the coffee, I had important meeting to go , so wrote a letter sticker on the window, because I’m working alone, don’t have other people could help … maybe you are working for my “Competitor “ ?because I couldn’t find other reasons why you gave me one star to puls my Café down , you even didn’t entered to my Café to get any coffee and service yet , and you saw that notice letter on the window…right? personally I felt people don’t gave comments or Judgments without experience to they places , it’s unfair for my café or any others Gastrobusiness , , do you know how hard we all fight to survive during the corona time? And how hard i’m working on the past one and half year to get five stars ? If you are in my Café get bad coffees or bad service…Etc. then you welcome to gave your opinions or suggestions for me to improve better, just passing by with the clear sign “Dear guest, I will coming back soon , Love Lingxia “, you still disappointed and give one star immediately , that’s unfair and hurts for my personal feelings, maybe for your understanding it’s 5 to 10 minutes, please aware that I ‘m not mean that short time ,because I will be back soon couldn’t gave the exactly time …if you are in hurry , I’m sure the city has so many good cafés to offer , just walk few minutes you will find many , if you only want my coffee, there is mobile number in the door and the google maps , you could call me to find out if I’m available for your needs or not, or maybe try next time ? It’s very clearly todays people holds the mobile has lots of powers for all business, there’s two mainly functions , one is gave good comments to lift the business up ; (good comments not just 4or5stars and great positive comments, also the friendly nurture suggestions witch helps you to improve better for the business ) ; another one is that people used like Weapons to kills the business, or just expressing them’s anger in that moment…normally the Competitor will hier someone Professionally go to all the compacters a very bad reviews to pull them’s business ranks down , I have to Announced to my dear Café owners Feinds , im not Competitor to you or anyone else , my Café only focused with all language and culture lovers , Not regular Café like you think, my dream is one day we all live in the world full of Harmony ! I do recommend my guest to the good restaurants or good café witch I don’t offer big space or breakfast…Etc. Guest all like me for sure because my natural friendliness ! second is the Peoples are not have enough understanding abilities or empathetic thoughts , they just want expressing them’s feelings without moments thinking, use that power as Weapon to punish others who didn’t Sacrifice them’s needs in that moments, for my point of view that’s irresponsible, I’m not sure witch one you are ? For sure ,my suggestion for you in the future is : before you will giving comments to any business , try to give yourself moment to thinking “Am I fair enough ?” , I’m sure every business owners will appreciate you for doing that ! Me as well ! Hope you like my explanation, I will try to improve my skills and my service every day, but I can’t wait for you if I have Emergency or appointments…, Again! my mainly goals is unite the peoples who loves languages and love the word becomes peaceful , without races, conflicts, no Crucial War …more understanding ,more empath for change the Words full of Harmony … so I shouldn’t carry on this hurt feelings anymore with your comments , because I’m busy with all beautiful guests what I have now and the future! Fantastische Erfahrung: Das ist wirklich der schönste Ort im Villenviertel von Godesberg. Der Service ist äußerst angenehm und der Kuchen schmeckt sehr gut, der Kaffee wird hervorragend zubereitet. Ich werde öfter kommen und jedem empfehlen, vorbeizuschauen!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Schönes kleines Café im japanisch-sino-internationalen Fusionsstil, das sehr leckeren hausgemachten Kuchen und einen schönen, heimeligen Stil bietet. Probieren Sie den Matcha-Kuchen. Außerdem haben sie Dorayaki, was mich hoffen lässt, dass Doraemon nach Bonn kommen und mich besuchen könnte, um dieses Café zu besuchen. Familienähnliche Atmosphäre, sehr freundlicher und netter Besitzer. Wirklich ein schöner Ort, um zu sein und zu entspannen.

Positive Erfahrung: Cappuccino mit Macha Tee war ein Experiment was mir persönlich nicht so gut geschmeckt hat, was man aber mal probiert haben kann. Schöne Terrasse. Corona bedingt nur Selfservice was ich etwas schade fand.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Es ist ein sehr einladender Ort mit einer Gastgeberin, die sehr engagiert für ihre Gäste und ihren Kaffee ist. Ich mag es sehr, vor allem hat es etwas Einzigartiges mit seiner internationalen Atmosphäre.
Fantastische Erfahrung: Man sitzt sehr schön und fühlt sich einfach wohl im Cafe. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und freundlich. Das Sesameis (weiß und Schwarz) ist super lecker. Ich komme wider.
